Pregnancy Yoga Therapy

A medically-informed, therapist-guided yoga program spanning all three trimesters. Each trimester has a distinct focus aligned with the physiological and emotional changes of that period. All sessions are conducted by certified yoga therapists in coordination with the gynecology oversight team

Who is this for?

  • Women preparing for normal delivery or C-section recovery
  • Women with medically supervised or high-risk pregnancies (subject to clinical assessment)
  • Women experiencing anxiety, insomnia, or back pain during pregnancy
  • Pregnant women at any stage (1st, 2nd, or 3rd trimester)

Program modules

Weeks 1 to 13

  • Gentle seated postures — avoid compression on abdomen
  • Pranayama for nausea and fatigue
  • Yoga Nidra for anxiety and insomnia
  • Grounding practices and pelvic floor awareness

Weeks 14 to 27

  • Standing strength-building postures
  • Gentle spinal mobility and pelvic movement
  • Breath-baby bonding meditations
  • Pelvic floor strengthening with breath

Weeks 28 to 40

  • Squatting and hip-opening for birth readiness
  • Structured labour breathing techniques
  • Fear-release somatic practices
  • Progressive relaxation for pain tolerance
